Nepal Earthquake

http://rss.cnn.com/~r/rss/cnn_world/~3/jgU9WBL7q8c/index.html

It was a sad day in Nepal Kathmandu, when I read through the CNN news column, of the earthquake that happened which was ruled at 7.8 magnitude, it has been confirmed that about 2,430 people have lost their lives in Nepal and the numbers may go up in the coming days to come. Also 56 people have been reportedly dead in India in'' Bihar'' state, and Chinese Citizens 17 dead in ''Tibet'' per the Chinese   agency news Xinhua, that brings the amount numbering more than 2,500 and that the lives lost so far is based on information they got from the city of lex kassenberg, Nepal informed CNN. And a confirmation stories had it that about 80% of properties in the rural places have been damaged or demolished, and some of the sad news I read was that of 2 American citizens named eve Girawong of new jersey that was killed by an avalanche on mount Everest, Girawong they said was at Everest camp when she was killed, and also the report of a google executive Dan Fredinburg was one of the Americans killed in the avalanche on mount Everest. News has it in Nepal that people are still digging on the wreckages looking for any survivals and maybe dead bodies. And at night people have to sleep in open grounds in the cold night environment, and that food and water are becoming scarce, and electricity is not visible in any place, people resort in using candle light, hope and fear is in everyplace. And many people injured were reportedly treated outside an over packed hospitals where crowds of people are looking for alive and displaced families and loved ones, and when it looks like things were going to get better an aftershock started on Sunday making people crying onto the streets and prompting more new injuries for shocked and distressed residents.

Passenger kicked off flight for poking fellow flier with pen

http://rss.cnn.com/~r/rss/cnn_travel/~3/-oXRQosQJpY/index.html

A pilot return an aircraft back to the gate that is taxiing down the runway, and was  delayed for hours, because a woman poke a fellow flier with a pen. Snoring can be a problem and not a crime. Honestly, even though i don't feel the problem is that bad, i have tried very had sometimes to be very conscious when sleeping at home or  when i go out. The loud breathing problem that most people share around the world now and then. Am not really sure if snoring was the cause of all the  drama that took place on the aircraft. According to a witness who was sitting close, he said he didn't here the man snore, i think something else must have cause this not snoring.

A bond far exceeding basketball

http://www.syracuse.com/kirst/index.ssf/2015/04/treasure_far_beyond_basketball_in_cortland_why_betty_finney_finds_treasure_in_th.html

I loved the Washington reflection on why the bond endures beyond basketball that there is a place within us that appreciates joy and beauty, and once you go there, you don't forget whether it's art or nature or sports. And that is a bond shared by athlete and spectator. Betty Finney, 88, is a retired nurse in Cortland. Walk into the house where she's lived for 65 years, and the first photos you encounter even before those of her children  are two autographed images of  Dwayne Washington. Betty loved him. She cut out articles and kept scrapbooks about Washington when he played at Syracuse, and she followed his career when he left to play for a few years in the National Basketball Association. She kept up with his life after basketball, including the frightening period in the 1990s when Washington had surgery for a tumor in his brain. What Betty did not expect, however, was that Washington would become a family friend who sometimes shows up spontaneously when he's driving along Interstate 81, through Cortland, a guy who surprised her by giving her one of his old high school uniforms. I really love this story.

11 True-Life Stories That Explain What It's Really Like To Sleepwalk

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/04/02/sleepwalking-stories_n_6980870.html

The minute I saw this article, I could not stop myself from laughing because it reminds me of the place I grow up. Our landlord son named Alex and other kinds in the environment has this sleepwalking issue. Alex always dose off after playing with friends outside in the evening, and if you wake him up without holding his hands to his father’s house, you will find him in two streets later after several search. Sleepwalking is a behavior disorder that originates during deep sleep and results in walking or performing other complex behaviors while asleep. It is much more common in children than adults and is more likely to occur if a person’s sleep is deprived. Because a sleepwalker typically remains in deep sleep throughout the occurrence, he or she may be difficult to awaken and will probably not remember the sleepwalking incident. Sleepwalking usually involves more than just walking during sleep; it is a complicated performance that are carried out while sleeping, the most obvious of which is walking.
